I don't want to write here about Andreea Raducanu-the champion. Everybody does what she did, who she was and she is and what she is doing now. I want to write about Andreea Raducanu, the woman she has became. As a sport journalist, i met her many times when she was a gymnast. Latley we met at various sport charity events. She involves in helping former athlets with health problems.
I propose her an interview last mounth. We met at Romanian Olympic Foundation where she works. With a big smile on his face, like she was on a carpet on Olympic Games, she invited us into the builnding. Actually we realise that she is- allways smiling.
When we began the interview, she talks quickly and very accentuated. Every words that comes out from her mouth is important for her because she says about her carrer, abut her goals, about what she is now! She is very determineted when she talks, too. His gesture are not so many and not so large, this was a sign that the little gymnast is still there, in her soul!
She was wearing a pair of beige pants, a jacket of the same color, matched with some sandals with high foot. Simply as allways.
She love to programe every thing in his life. When i asked her what was the biggest extravagance of her life, told me "i was on a vacantion without a plan, this summer" .
Even if she talks about people with health problems working with, ske is keppeng his smile and optimistic voice.
Andreea is a simply woman, more mature with the same little girlish face. She said, this maturity came too early for her: when she lost gold medal at Sydney.
Today she is celebrating 28 years old, What she is dreaming of? To help more people ....and to a prince charming and a healthy and beautiful family. But till than, she has a mother and a brother there are allways close to her.
